Nile Abys Around the World

Nile DAVID BECKS   a Tawny son of Nat Sh Ch, CCCA Dbl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope and Dbl Gr Ch Nile Toccata, Becks was the only male in a litter of five. The girls were all named after the Spice Girls, so his name seemed quite appropriate; it seems even more appropriate now, since he has gone to Carolyn Osier (Wil-O-Glen) in Los Angeles.  Becks has already had a number of best in show wins, including at the Blue Point Siamese show in late September and the Blue Mountains in late October. Since arriving at Carolyn's, Becks has spent his time mostly purring, officially becoming Nile David Becks of Wil-O-Glen, and going to shows. He found his feet at the Feline Friends International show on December 15/16, and was Best Shorthair Kitten in three of the six rings.  newi.gif (1285 bytes)At the Tonks West show in Costa Mesa, CA, in mid-April, he placed in all four all-breed adult rings, with two firsts, a 2nd and a 5th. He was the highest-scoring cat in show and became a Gran Champion in the process. He has also mated his first girl.

Gold Dbl Gr Ch Nile Magnum Opus — "O-Puss"  is owned in Dunedin by Stuart and Claudine Johnstone. He did well as a kitten last year, and equally well as an adult this year, with nearly 30 top-10 placings, and consequently rapid "promotions" to the top of the title ranks. He has started siring successful Exodus kittens for the Johnstones.

Int Ch NILE RED ROCK
— Rocky went to Cor and Ria Konink in The Netherlands, in mid 2005. At his first show in Australia, he was best Gr 3 Male Kitten in one ring, and 5th overall all-breed kitten out of 105. He was then best in show at his second Dutch show in November 2005, as you can see below. He has, by now, sired his first few litters of kittens, and one of the kittens has gone to Denmark. Rocky became a Champion by gaining a CAC in Germany in May 2006. He was Best in Show and Best of the Best at Zutphen in November 2006. He became an International Champion at a show in Belgium in April 2007, and by November 2007, had collected his second GIC award.
